About us
My name is Jenna, and I’m a certified full-spectrum doula, passionate about food, urban regenerative agriculture and community, I’m a wife, daughter, and sister. During the day, I have the privilege to work in refugee resettlement, and in the evenings, I get to spend time with my husband, fixing up our house, working in my garden, and pouring into Motherfolk.
Motherfolk Collective has been a dream of mine for many years. A space for mothers to be nourished and held as they move through the transformational journey of birth and motherhood. Motherfolk is a space for all folks, a space for all to feel welcome and seen.
I’ve always known in my soul that the intersection between maternal care, reciprocity with the environment, food systems and food access, community action, social justice, immigrant rights, and birth mattered. Motherfolk is a space where we acknowledge that intersection and show up for each other.
